Despite how passionate we all are about music, in the past couple years we had kind of lost faith in our own generation when it comes to music.
There was a “scene” around music that really had nothing to do with music, but instead wrapped people up in labels, and judgment, and negativity. Instead of people connecting through music, they tried to use it as a way to be “cooler” than other people. It started to feel like there were less inspired artists, and more guys joining bands just to get some form of attention.
Then, we started interviewing bands and artists for our website PrettyPrincessGirls.com. It has completely made us check our own stereotypes at the door. It re-inspired our inner music nerd, and is actually what made us want to start TAS. Everyone we have interviewed have been incredibly genuine and are totally passionate about what they do. With each interview we’ve learned amazing things about who they are, and their love for making music, and we’ve fallen even more in love with the music they make.
