Definitely one of the most underrated bands of late in my opinion. ‘Can’t Love, Can’t Hurt’ is such a great album. I heard that ‘Sweet and Low’ is possibly a song about father and daughter. Even if that isn’t the intended meaning, it’s what the song means to me.

How I feel about my daughter Amberlee is so indescribable, and she is without question the best thing that has ever happened to me. I’m no longer together with Amberlee’s mother. Even though we are friends, because of the situation, I don’t get to see my daughter every day. This song reminds me of the moments I’m not with her, and I miss her so much it hurts. When she is with me, I love to play this song and sing it to her. She smiles every time, and lights up my world.
